Mahomes grandfather’s loss could not have come at a worse time as the athlete is still reeling from the loss of his team. He was reportedly torn over the defeat in the locker room on Sunday evening.
“Mahomes was at his stall, a few lockers inside of the Chiefs’ locker room doors,” The Blast gathered from Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame report on Monday, February 10.

He explained that they did not get off to the ideal start desired by the team. Mahomes admitted that the turnovers were detrimental to the team’s success.
