The NFL superstar’s mother shared the news of her father’s passing with a heartfelt tribute celebrating his life.
“Hard to find the words of holding my father’s hand as he goes to Heaven. I know he’s in a better place. I love you daddy. Well done, good and faithful servant!” Randi wrote on her Instagram page.
Randy’s death comes shortly after Mahomes’s mom urged the Chiefs Kingdom to send well wishes, thoughts, and prayers to their family as Randy spent his last days at the hospice. She made this revelation days leading up to the Chiefs AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills.
TMZ shared that a few months ago, Randi revealed that her father had been hospitalized and was not in good health, although she chose not to disclose the specifics of his condition.
She expressed how meaningful it was for her to be by his side while they watched Mahomes compete against the Los Angeles Chargers in September.
